Health of 49ers players knocked back.

That game was ruined by the health aspect.

At the time game was so hot. Looking back the first one with just 4 plays is better. Chicago was the team.

Dave Duerson SS. That was my favorite player. The defense was the offense to me. That one slant play to the TE, you could not stop it. Even if the D picked it. Gault and Payton were Dope though, I agree.

I said it before and will say it again. On opening kickoffs I would run back to my own 1 and get tackled, that way I could get more 99 yard runs with Jackson and really load up the yards. Your friends would get pissed off too when everyone was silly drunk and this was the shit you would do, and win to boot like 66-0 and Jackson would easily have a 600 yard day.....mmm the good days.

its basic

not complicated...fastball is down, curveball is up...sometimes it hangs, sometimes it breaks.

movement on the pitches...putting runners in motion...errors....tight ball games...the key to that game is pitching and defense....

constantly play 0-0 ball games heading into the 13th...

1-0 and that may be all you need...so freakin strategic..i love that game
